She is Hope
I am lost in a windless storm,
That tears my world to shreds,
Like an angel to a disaster,
She reminds me,
That there is still hope,
Even for the hopeless,
Even for me,
She is Hope, in my ruined world,
I am drowning,
In a waterless sea,
She is holding me up,
To keep me from going under,
Even if it is her memory, that holds me so loosely together,
She holds me,
To keep me from dying,
I may be drowning in a waterless sea,
But she is teaching me to swim.
