What I See
I see a light
As hot as the sun
It seems so bright
But I cannot run
I see the sky
So open and immense
But I wonder why
It never makes sense
I see my friends
Smiling right at me
With their different trends
As I think of what they see
I see the grass
So perfectly green
Time can pass
But I won’t be mean
I see a bee hive
So yellow and round
The colony thrives
And are always home bound
I see my Mom and Dad
Split over seas
I always feel so bad
That it wasn’t meant to be
