Fading Away

rise out of bed to feel the vast emptiness of the day,
I try to carry on but my light fades away,
the darkness succumbs me,
it is trying to numb me,
im trying to run from the pain but it keeps overcoming me,
i keep thinking things will change,
but they always stay the same,
im trying to figure out the difference
between fantasy and reality,
i cant seem to escape, im fading away.
