Six Feet Tall
My best friend is six feet tall.
But only you an make him small.
His pale white skin turns black and blue.
With every single punch you threw.
At times he thought there was noway out.
The pills in the bathroom seemed the easiest route.
A stronger force knew there was more.
My best friend had more to live for.
It was time you tasted the punch you threw.
Can't you see "Dad"? the joke's on you.
You called the cops, then lied through your teeth.
My bestfriend is who they'd beleive.
He found a way to get away.
From what you put him through every day.
He'll never even miss you.
Or the life that he once knew.
