Sunset
Wonderful colors,
a magnificent hue,
blended together
by the magestic blue.
A swirled rainbow,
spun unto one,
slowly disapearing
into the fading sun.
Slowly leaving
being followd by darkness,
it swoops in
and consumes all.
Faded away,
far from sight,
revealing more
than an exuberant light.
Hours of night,
pure silence in the dark
with nothing to be heard
except for Mrs. Maye's harp.
Forver on
forever throughout,
the night holds on,
wihtout a doubt.
'Til the sun shines once more,
and a renewal awakens,
it creeps over the hill
like a silent shawdow,
not yet ready to be taken.
