Life
To the lifeless
Not
The obvious
Not
The eyes
Motionless
But,
Less poetically,
The un-
Personifiable
Not ugly
Just not grand
Sweeping
Sweet
Powerful
No
The rock
That doesn't look
Like anything

The author's comments:
It is easy to write a beautiful poem about an easily personified object, a lone tree upon a windswept hill, a lonely forgotten teddy bear. This poem is about the things that are, not unpersonifiable, but just not obvious to personify.

PS: apparently "personifiable" isn't actually a word, sorry for using it, but I needed a verb that ment to personify.

(If anyone was wondering where the title comes from)
