"Love, Happiness, everything imaginable, is possible, when I look in your eyes...I feel my heart pound out of my chest...I feel such joy just by hearing your voice..."

Tears pour finally shedding, a heart finally healing
A set of minds working in unision, hearts beating true
Living in the past wishing to go back
Finding it hard that a heart doesn't beat for you anymore
Memories fade, lives end, but what stays around is your dreams
Your hopes, your will nothing left to stop you from fading
But the words passed down, the echos stay drawn together
Your thought is what keeps me alive, dreams
Of you still my trembles...
I know that I should give up on you, yet
It is impossible to lose ones love and try not to get them back
I see you smile and laugh away with friends, while I feel the brunt of
The sadness the guilt the horrid daymares
You said goodbye, but I begged otherwise too late to stop it anymore
My heart bleeds in thought of losing you again.
My dreams die in memory of the happiness we shared
The tears dry quickly an expression freezes
Its not the end you promised, but without you my life is over
Stop saying that things will look up, its a lie
To say you are not my whole world is not true
Only whispers remain, of what we had once
Whispers, murmurs, and hopes are all I hold in my heart now

The author's comments:
Everywhere I looked, I saw pain and sadness in people's eyes. They'd see me look, and smile, but it never once reached their eyes. I saw what falling in love did to my friends, leading to pain, and sadness. Only in maybe 1 or 2 cases were they happy. Now me, I've never fallen in love, so don't judge me too harshly by this poem. If you understand what I am trying to convey then you deserve a round of applause. If you don't you deserve smiles and still clapping.
