Forget Who Was Here

It started with a book,
I think that is right,
Each day I read that book,
I felt my mind more open,
I cannot remember that book's name,
The author, the title,
Is wiped from my mind,
At school, I would walk,
Through the halls,
But then,
I would forget where I was,
Which class to go to,
The worst,
Is when I forgot her face,
The one who saved me,
Was the last to go away.
