Masking Feelings
Everyone can wear a mask,
Queens and royalty wear them to find their faces,
Robbers and killers use masks for eviler deeds,
But what about the people,
Who wear masks that you cannot see?
The people who smile,
When all they want to do is cry,
Children who laugh,
When the fake smile is really just another mask,
Those people and me,
Wear these masks,
To lie to those we love,
To make them think,
That we are all okay.

"As i grew up my mom told me happiness was the key to life. I went to school and they said to write down what we want to be when we grew up. I wrote down happy. They told me i didn't understand the assignment. I told them they didn't understand life"
