Pain and Misery
When my life is full of pain and misery,
I walk in the rain with tears streaming from my eyes,
these tears are brought upon by secrets and lies,
I must clense my body of all pain,
before my misery leaves a permanent stain.
The betrails of those I love cut like a sword through my heart.
Sometimes they are so good at hurting me it seems to be an art.
But what they should have known from the start,
Is that when they lie to me it always breaks my heart.
And I am left with one question playing over in my head.
Why don't they just rip out my heart?
