I'm sorry
for the way i've treated you
you gave me life
my first breath
I turned around
and thought you
a bad person
a horrible parent
all i wanted to do you right
treat you like u deserve
you were my mother and
i treated u like nothing
so this is my apology
I love you and i'm sorry

i love this poem. i think this is something that a lot of people struggle with; i know i do. you obviously know your audience which is the first step to becoming a good writer.but more than that, this piece is genuinely heartfelt, which makes it special. keep up the good work!
