Sky splutters and
coughs sunshine
onto us today.
Clouds haunt
another side of
earth.
The pink and
white cherry blossoms
fall neatly onto our
grass, the ribbed
bark springs awake.
Shadows filled with
opening of light
spread across the
concrete.
The dandelions perk
up when they
do not hear
the lawn mower.
Wind gently carries
each flower and
each strand of
hair to serenity.
