lovely and lonely

A lonely and lovely girl
She sits and ponders, aware of her world.
She seems so lonely, but so lovely indeed.
I notice and sit beside her, I must find out what she needs.
I watch as she turns to look at me, lonely and lovely
Her head in the clouds so high up above me
I say to her “you sit and you wonder, but what will you do?”
She says “well now I can go, I’ve been waiting for you.”
