Being Different
Whose fault is it?
Ours or theirs? His or hers?
Is it their fault that we are killed?
Is it our fault for being different
Is that a good enough reason to kill
When can I be looked upon as an equal or person?
When can I hold her hand without the looks of dissatisfaction?
You don’t own me
Why must my lifestyle is seen as unhealthy or full of sin
Aren’t you the one who sin every day, aren’t you the one who hates what we are
Look around you! We are still here. We are not contagious
We do not spread hatred. We are the hated. We are the ones who die
We are the ones who suffer
We become victims because we are different
This world is unique, everyone is diff
We are not an experiment! We are not confused
You are not us
You do not know what we go through
You do not know how we feel
You can’t tell us what we are and why we are that way
Laws may be changed but people don’t
