The White Rose
White rose:
Innocence, affliction, misery, death,
Its merciless thorns pierce my skin,
Blood stains the crisp white petals,
Transforms to a crimson red rose;
Deceit, wrath, rebellion, vengeance,
I hold it in my hands; so light and alive,
I stand at the foot of your gravestone,
I bring you this red rose,
I hope you like it, so you can remember,
You were nothing but a parasite;
Impeding, afflicting, draining,
Perforating my young soul,
You said you would fight to the bitter end,
Yet I’m here and you’re there,
So here’s your white rose turned red
