Thrown
He cries
Cries of the day she threw it in his face
She liked another guy
She said she loved him
But now he looks back and knows she didn’t
She didn’t make it nice
She threw it
Threw it in his face
he sees them at school, all over each other
and throws up in the bathroom
He hides his pain with drugs
His friends tell him to forget her
But they don’t know how hard it is
Love is like a sour candy
It’s sour in the beginning
And sweet at the end
But they never got to the sweet
They never did argue
But they never did get to the sweet
He tried so hard
But failed
He wishes there was a time machine
He’d go back three months and change it
