If a heart breaks tragically
Can it ever again love?
Can it be revealed?
If daddy leaves too soon
Can a little girl heal?
Or will she never again be able to feel
If they never had a chance to apologize
Would they forever regret it?
Or die trying to forget it
If you never gave up
Would you ever win?
Or would you never forgive your own sins
If you lie into my eyes
Will I never trust?
Or will I find the strength to say
“That’s finally enough”
