Goodbye
My heart has been broken before.
It’s been thrown across the room
and beaten with your hurt filled hands.
You’ve poked it with a stick.
Making a puncture in it.
The blood spewed freely
and I screamed
at the immense burning it caused me.
Your once honey filled laughter
rung in my ears.
Making me scream even more.
Your laughter was never sweet.
It was coaxed with lies.
Just like who you pretended to be.
You always acted sweet and innocent
but really you were cold hearted and evil.
You threw broken beer bottles at me,
covered my body with bruises,
made me scream and cry,
made me wish I was dead.
You’ve caused me so much pain and misery,
yet you ask “do you love me?”
Once I would have said yes in a heartbeat
but not now.
You expect me to love you
after everything you’ve put me through?
You’re really pathetic.
So you know what goodbye for now and forever.
