"Word"
Love.
Slides off my tongue,
rolls over my lips,
cooling, calming like water.
Hate.
Jumps from my throat,
Slips through my teeth,
Burns, scorches like fire.
Hope.
Streams on my voice,
Rushes with breath,
Flows, sweeps like wind.
Word.
Comes from within
In every form,
Touches the world.

I really liked to read this poem. It was beautifully written and you gracefully articulated what each word means.
Good Job!
