hunderclap,
Sugar cube,
Faded ink,
Remember.

We were sitting in that library,
We were sitting there together.

Glass bottle,
Pink seashell,
Burned notes,
Remember.

We were parting at that train station,
We were leaving behind “forever.”

Lightning strikes,
Cat's green eyes,
Memories gone,
Remember.

We were reminiscing about the past,
We had learned to say “never.”

Golden dresses,
Slow dancers,
Now, good-bye,
Remember.

We had finally found each other.
We could finally remember.
