Simply Kissed
Kiss me in black and white
With your thick-lashed eyes closed.
Let's make a perfect night
And who but us need know?
Hold me with the sunlight
Of your warm fingertips;
Trailing across my eyes
And stenciling my lips.
I'm an acquired taste,
Yes, a rare vintage wine.
Sip me slowly, don't haste;
I'm worth at least one try.
Let me melt into you
And lose yourself in me;
A world, fleeting and new
That only we can see.
With your arms my lattice
Green ivy I become,
Entwining you in bliss.
We are alike to none.
Kiss me the final time,
I'll breathe you in again.
Until another time,
Until we kiss again.
