Stranger
The room spins round
Enclosed by these walls
The laughter echoes
Off of the forgotten memories
The incessant babble fades
Into the encroaching darkness
The faces and places
Are all but a blur
And this feeling overwhelms me
In my darkest time of need
Where did it all go?
Why do these memories
Elude me so?
I didn't even notice
I'd been a stranger to myself
For the longest of time
Do I even have anything
That I can call mine?
