The Nights Secrets
as the day comes to an end,
and the sun has set,
and the moon is high,
the stars come out
to dot the sky
you get to bed
you listen quietly
to everything that surrounds you,
you hear the relaxing cherping of the peepers,
the wind, softly rusiling the newly grown
spring leafs,
you feel the air tuch your skin
as it clams from the busy day,
you hear a car pass,
then fade away into the calm,
relaxed night,
you can hear how the earth
is calm, an relaxed
everything so quiet,
peaceful,
you then close your eyes,
taking it all in for another moment,
then you concentrate on the sound
of your breath,
slow,
calm,
relaxed,
then you hear the sound of your
heart beat,
calmly,
tha thud, tha thud,
then you drift off to sleep,
thinking of all
The Nights Secrets.
