Many Fish In the Sea.
They say that there are many fish in the sea.
But they all seem to be dying.
There may be many fish in the sea
But they all leave you crying.
If there were that many fish in the sea
Then why are countless hearts broken?
If there were that many fish in the sea
Then these words wouldn’t be spoken.
I’ve watched it over and over again
As hearts sail on boats everyday
Those hearts search for better fish
The ones that won’t break and swim away
But the rain pours; those sail boats drown
And with the boats those hearts go down
Leaving nothing more than those fish to say
“hey, I sank that old boat just the other day”
A funny joke, a heartbreaking display
A crime committed but no price to pay.
They say that there are many fish in the sea
But how many of them are good?
Who ever said that there were many fish in the sea
Was clearly misunderstood.
