I Know A World
I’ve been to a world
Where there is no such thing as a “world”
It’s a place where everything that was
Just was
Anything else just wasn’t there
There’s no way for me to explain
At least in terms that people like you would understand
What this world was about
Or even if it’s qualified enough
To be called a “world”
I’m not even sure what that is
What I know
Or at least what I can say
In your language of course
Is that it is a “place”
Where “people” and “creatures” interact
I think my world is like that
There is interaction
And “emotions” I believe they’re called
And “imagination”, that too
Could you travel to my world?
I’m not sure you can
The only way you could know
Understand, interact, and “love”
My world
Would be to know me
Because you may not know
But my world belongs to me
And to know it is to know me
And to know me for sure
Well…
You couldn’t.
