i wake up and see
this beautiful girl in front of me
were in a bright colored room filled with people
shes alone just waiting for a guy
to come along and stop by
and talk chat and get to know
people are ignoring her n im like what fo
so i walk over to her and say hello
my voice shaking and cracking n im thinkin oh no
but she smiles and says hi back
and she could see i was nervous so she told me to relax
the comfort in her voice and her soft beautiful eyes
said talk to me and to my surprise
i begin this action of the movement of my mouth
forming words and making sounds
but then
it all starts to become cloudy and foggy like its fading away
i was just getting comfortable and wish it would stay
and then i wake up and see
this beautiful girl in front of me
and i think to myself confidence is the key
stay relaxed focused and this will be
a wonderful night for you and me
