Such a cliché
When you left,
you took a piece of me with you.
When you drove away,
you threw my heart on the ground.
When you didn't cry,
you forgot all our memories.
When you brought me down,
you lowered your self-esteem.
When you laughed in my face,
you became a monster.
When you never turned back,
you cut my heart like razor blade would.
When you found a new love,
you let me die there.
When you showered her off,
you killed my soul.
When you told me "I miss you,"
you made me whole world crash.
When you wanted to hang out again,
you got my hopes all up.
When you told me that we'd never be "us" again,
you made me feel worthless.
When you asked me back out,
you brought everything back that you took away.
