Heard on the Radio
We hear the “breaking news”
Of a hazy debated feud
Angered voices share their thoughts
Razing the damned to be caught
Forming shallow opinions without thinking
Of the harm that’s inflicting
Using the omniscient free voice
Should we always use our choice?
What is quickly shared
Causes consequences unimpaired
Media does its piece
Does not stop the fire unleashed
Thunderous scorn is quick
Striking those whom we pick
To suffer the harsh displeasure
Of our unanalyzed petty measure
Bringing society to sorrow
When lots are cast for tomorrow
