Fall Rain
Ominous grey skies,
Wind blows leaves
Into a swirling whirlwind.
Rain starts to fall
One drop at a time.
Then two.
Then three.
Then thousands.
Then millions.
Pouring onto my head,
Dripping off my chin.
Leaves carried down hill by rushing water.
Rain wipes excess from our land
Leaving virgin lands in it's wet tracks.
Exposing the pure and beautiful to the world.
