Looking out
On the field of destruction
Waiting for a second round
Of stinging fire
And a torrent of screams
A soldier stares and
Asks himself,
"What about
Peace?"
And the saved hogs on the Hill reply,
"Only when they or you are dead."

This I wrote to prove to a friend of mine that I can write on the spot. Basically, it responds to the question, "What about peace?" but it also links to my thoughts on "Charlotte's Web." Even though Wilbur was saved, a different pig was still eaten.
