A Kiss
The kiss of love,
The kiss of fate,
The kiss of death,
The kiss of hate.
The kiss to now
Begin your lives.
The kiss good-bye,
That cuts like knives.
A kiss, you feel
The fireworks go,
And afterwards
Your faces will glow.
The awkward kiss,
When you’re not sure.
The kiss that can be
Your ultimate cure.
A kiss, the kiss
The final one.
The kiss when now,
Your life is done.
Warm to cold,
Lips will touch,
When you have
Nothing left, not much.
You long for this kiss,
Anyone of them,
And when you’ll get it
You’ll feel like a gem.
So keep your head up,
Look on the bright side.
I’m sure it will happen.
To you I have not lied.
