Hey...?
Hey.
You once said that we were made for one another. You once said that the world was built for us to destroy together. You made me believe every lie you told.
(But you can't spell believe without lie,
or at least that was your excuse)
Hey.
When you said my name, that half year or so ago, I still remember it. When you decided to take everything into your hands and jump, I still remeber how my tears tasted. How hot they were when I cried for you.
(Now I can't even bear to look you in the eye)
Hey?
Remember when I used to care? Well, I've got something better than you now. Remember when I used to look at you, just to make sure you were still alive. Now, I just hope I get an invite to the funeral. I'll be sure to bring flowers.
(But I still can't really hate you,
even after you've torn me apart)
