Running away from economic debates,
political views and life insurance rates

Where is the simplicity in life
when you need it the most?

They put a price tag on the moon
Fear has masked opinionated argues

Sanity has no right to enter this house,
this fight is only for the self defensive confused.

When every being has a life,
there has to be some way to figure out
who’s more valued.

Through bills,
through labor,
and religion,
even age itself.

Who’s more important?
Who has the power?
This world is a rotting fruit.
To become hideous and whithered
to become deadly
by the idea of “control”.

In this psychological competition
they have attempted homicide at
the term “Simplicity” itself.

The real meaning of simplicity
has been lost in a politicians metaphors.
No one really knows what it means anymore.
When money,
when respect,
and power,
and pride
are protected with voting polls
with a false sense of security

with a labeled nation.

It all becomes a dead government’s control
When the power of simplicity
is molested by greed
it becomes a crumbling nation.

One that cares more for reputation
for pride rather then simplicity.
“The Nation of the Blinded”

“The Home of the Prideful”
The reassured
The un-American
phonies.

When people themselves
stand in a pit of prepaid facts,
all is to be questioned,
and all is to be argued over.

Stop me if I’ve offended you.
Then I can pay
for an opinion to argue for me.
And in the end if there is any word left
untwisted of this god forsaken poem,
I guess maybe I did something right.
Or I guess I must have paid too much.

Perhaps I am also just one of those
civilians

Blind to my very core
for I cannot see the outcome of such
an opinionated country.
One with so many strong
contradictory opinions, in fact,
they say nothing at all.

None of them.
