Never Fall Asleep
Music saves your sanity.
The little things change. They slip away. Subtlety but still, what must happen, will happen. Time is an interesting phenomenon. You want it to go faster yet at the same time you are afraid that as it does, things will change, and not all for the better.
Writing is release, but at the same time it’s not at all. It’s like a trap for your words, but it doesn’t make them any less true or permanent. As much as you want to just be rid of the ones you want to be rid of, they will not go away.
What do you want?
Freedom.
What is freedom?
Freedom is the end to suffering.
The beginning of peace.
Serenity.
You want so much; and there is this ounce of hope inside of you that you may one day be able to get it, but when?
Time.
There is so much of it. But when you have to live each day dreading what could come next, it just goes slower.
What can you do?
Live.
One day at a time.
Breathe.
Survive.
Go with the flow.
Trust your instincts.
Act upon your feelings.
And never, never fall asleep with regret.
