I am but a silhouette
Nothing more, nothing less
To stop the aching in my heart
Is what I truly covet
To hear your voice
To see your face
To have every single
Bad memory erased
But you're not here
And in a sense
Neither am I
You left me to live
And you left me to die

I liked this poem and the feeling that it inspired. It reminded me of another poem, where the subject has nothing left except for love to keep them going. So desperate, but so beautiful.
