Inexplicable Emotion
I see your crooked hat,
ripped black tee shirt,
muddy jeans,
silver belt buckle,
and worn out boots.
I feel your sandpapery hands,
yet soft touch;
warm arms cradling me,
and your heart beating against my chest.
I don't want you
to ever let me go.
I want to freeze
this moment forever.
And though the feelings
pulse through my veins
like my own red blood,
it's impossible to explain
the way I feel around you,
and how I need you so badly,
because you'll always be my best friend,
forever and always,
always and forever.
