"She was fascinated with words. To her words were things of beauty, each like a magical powder or potion that could be combinded with other words to create powerful spells." From: Lighting(By: Dean Koontz)

Take me up to the hill,

Where the Outlaws go to cheer, Freedom is their champagne and wine,

Rebellion is their anthem of time, Dancing and spinning through night,

Shouting as loud as the stars glow bright,

No rhyme, no reason,

Just spirit at its best,

Spirit of the free, and crimes with no rest,

Crying and sighing as the sun comes up,

Then back to the shadows,
Til the next night erupts...

This piece was sorta, kinda inspired by "Bring on The Wonder" by: Susan Enan. The song was playing at the end of an episode of Bones. And thats when the words for this poem struck me sooo, yeah. If anyone cares, then name of the episode was "The Boy in The Shroud". Enjoy and plez comment!

If it had not been for these things, I might have lived out my life talking at street corners to scorning men. I might have died, unmarked, unknown, a failure. Now we are not a failure. This is our career and our triumph. Never in our full life could we hope to do such work for tolerance, for justice, for man&#039;s understanding of man as now we do by accident.<br /> ~Bartolomeo Vanzetti

I really like its simplicity and I love the topic of outlaws. Everyone deep down wants to be an outlaw and do exactly what they want to do.
