The Last Of Something
It's obscure, at least'
At start of a feast
But as the last dish is eaten
you feel worn and beaten
It's to far to give thought to
'Til just 'fore it's brought to you
Time passes fast
When you think of the last
You're moving so quickly
And it's no closer, you can see
Close your eyes to enjoy the flow
and there it is, time to go
It's a true sorrow
When there's no time to borrow
It's perpetually coming
The last of something
