I would, I would
If I could take back all the tries and hide all the innocent lies, may
there have been a life worth trying and one not rotting and dying. If I
could take back all the pain and give up what I was hoping to gain, may
there have been something left inside us, something that could have
guide us. If I could take back all the risks and fix how bad I’ve been
sick, may there have been something tomorrow, in the future lessened
sorrow. If I could take back all the words said of anger and the tears
crying danger, may there have been a safer way, some hope for another
day. But I can’t take back what’s been said and what you think in that
head, there can’t be more first romances but I believe in second
chances.
