Mouth-to-Mouth, Hand-in-Hand
My face lights up when I see you across the room.
I wait for you to come, almost unbearably.
You reach my side and I whisper
“Hello, I missed you quite terribly.”
You’re hand is in mine,
Who knows where you're pulling me along,
But any where with you
Is where I belong.
We’re now more than friends
Possibilities endless,
The deeper feelings no longer
Have to be suppressed.
We are tangled together
But without any knots,
We were made to fit together
Like a set of Lincoln Logs.
Dream and reality
Magically becoming one.
Like the starry night sky,
Being lit up by the sun.
Your mouth is on mine
You’re stealing my breath away.
(Like you momentarily forgot your manners,)
You pull back politely to ask “May I?”
I respond to your goofy grin by saying “You may.”
We’re grinning all the while,
The happiness is too much.
I try to reign it in,
But it starts again under your touch.
Your hand on my cheek, on my neck
Around my wrist.
My fingers in your hair, on your back,
Against your chest.
I’m not worried about tomorrow
Or where we will stand;
There is only this moment,
Mouth to mouth, hand in hand.

Oh! I just LOVE this! It's beautiful it made me smile reading it. My favorite part was the end
