The Magic of the Pen

I’m Empress of Beauty,
Of some far off land.
Where orcs and elves,
And fairies dance.
I’m Slayer of Dragons,
Of some distant world.
Brandishing sword,
Against jagged maws.
I’m Protector of Dreams,
Of some fantasy realm.
Fighting back demons,
From the shadow lands.
I’m Master of Magic,
Of some mystical dominion.
Carrying on the craft,
From my tower home.
I’m Average Girl of Earth,
Stuck in a third row desk.
But pen in hand I can become,
The Empress once again.
