Rejection
Rejection hurts worse than cuts,
slices to your heart,
they never stop bleeding gashes and ruts,
it never seems to end, never getting past this point.
When you really like a boy,
and he doesn't like you,
he uses you like a toy,
then what do you do?
Blood stained tears,
trailing down your cheeks,
crying for years,
sobbing for weeks.
It feels like a hole,
to large to patch over,
a rip in your soul,
with not enough thread to cover.
Your body aches,
your head feels crushed,
ever emotion is fake,
every happiness is hushed.
Close my eyes,
and squash every happiness down deep,
tell happiness goodbyes,
and cry myself to sleep.
