i look at him
see his pain
i notice it right away
hard to miss the frown on his face
the tears in his eyes

but when she walks by everything changes
and his good side comes out
and the birds start singing
when that brief second is up
everything goes back 2 normal

his depression returns
and she walks away
he doesnt know what 2 say
when she asks "whats wrong"
either he can walk away
ignore the question
or tell her the truth

that she's the reason he wakes up every morning
and shes the reason he goes to sleep every night
how shes in his dreams
his mind all the time

but instead he turns around
hiding the tears
his hatrid for himself
and walks away
without anybody knowing
the true feelings he has
hiding within himself
