Summer Night Memories
A beautiful summer night spent underneath the stars
The darkness of the night illuminated by the moon
I see the faint outline of your sweet silhouette
I smile sadly because you'll be leaving all too soon
Another moment ruined by time's unmerciful grasp
It pulls me away from my sweet dream of you and I
I don't want to let you go, when will I see you again?
These few precious moments are all I have left of you
Since the moment you left me, nothing's been the same
I can't breath the way I used to, I see things differently
I think of you so very often, and dream of you every night
The only thing you left me with are memories of you and I
I miss you so much sometimes, all I want is you to be here
I know I'll see you soon, but for now I only have my dreams
So I cling to those summer nights spent underneth the stars
The two of us gazing at the sky, illuminated by a pale moon
