The Traitor
I'm trying to tell you something, but you just block me out
Yelling over all that I know and that I want to know
Erasing any signs of talking
Traitor you are
Proving once more that I can rely only on me
Questioning whether I was right
Constantly rethinking what to say, which phrase would be given a chance
Wondering when my turn will be
I need to tell you my side of the story
I realize that I'm forever marked and my reputation smashed and buried
No matter how hard I try, it's a concrete filled tunnel I'm digging through
My words judged before explained
My actions mocked before told
Anger pores out in gallons of tears as I choke with disbelief
The traitor you've made me.
