The sand feels cold beneath my feet,
As I walk along the banks of the shore
My traces of foot prints are erased by the ocean,
Hiding all of its secrets.
My feet sink deeper into the sand imprinting summer’s memories
Summers ending…
The sun sets behind the water,
Hoping to wash all of its secrets away too.
Waiting for next year to come again.
