Observations on the inside of my mind from a plane.
Observations on the inside of my mind from a plane.
My conciousness as a skittish kitten, chasing thoughts and frivolities for miles across the clouds,
looking up to catch a glimpse of the glittered space in which we suppose infinity,
the deep black which eludes us.
Insidious, I find it, to garb itself in jewels and lights and tempt us into its unforgiving depths
with promises of knowledge and/or an end chronic loneliness, chronic emptiness
In my mind its laugh is dripping wet with irony
-all its atoms suddenly sticky and oleaginous
"Caught you now" it whispers to our poor suckered cosmonauts,
mothlike in their fascination and like insects they too are crushed thoughtlessly by the might of a world which for them,
cares littles or nothing.
