five and beautiful
Five and beautiful
Well your five years old,
And beautiful,
You make my life amazing,
You never walk,
But somehow find a way to see the small things,
You dance in the rain
Sing a prayer at dinner,
Make me smile when no one else can,
And never stop questioning things,
And I see myself in your blond curls and hazel eyes,
But at the same time your so much different than I,
you’ll one day grow up and meet a guy,
And hope he fills your every prince desire,
And I know you dream of pretty dresses, and being a big girl,
But truthfully,
If I could,
I would keep you five years old and beautiful if I could,
Forever if I could,
But I know I cant so I am just going to say,
Keep being able to see those small things,
And keep dreaming of pretty dresses,
And no matter how old you get always dance in the rain,
And keep being beautiful,
Because your five years old,
My sister,
And I love you.
