the lonely tree staring back at me.
like a small child with curious eyes.
it waves as the sweet wind blows by.
and as the golden ball falls from the tree waves a final goodbye.

i like to think of the tree as a person who watches life go by. Instead of reaching for the sky, doing the best they can ultimately be.
