A Goblin's Tears
He doesn't love me
I am extremely lonely and dejected
A growing sadness consumes me as I contemplate my year
My image
How my desperation has taken hold of my plastic heart
An empty land lies within my desperate soul
It's a land that has never known life
Never been graced with the presence of beauty
The deep brown ground holds tragic cracks which make any sort of living impossibility
Life attempts to surround the angry tears
Though nature prevails and destroys the lovely resilience
I hope you know understand, comprehend
The suffering land that haunts and inhabits my body
The horrible scars that leave me barely breathing
For air
As well as honesty
Is devoured by the ever-so powerful cuts within me
I've once known perfection
Just once
I owned the seeds within my metaphorical heart.
